Lloyds TSB is currently the fifth largest banking group in the UK, operating in England and Wales as Lloyds TSB; and in Scotland as Lloyds TSB Scotland. Its other subsidiaries include the mortgage bank Cheltenham and Gloucester; life assurance company Scottish Widows; and finance house Black Horse.
In May 2006, Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets was recognised as ‘Bank of the Year’ (for the second year running) and ‘Adviser of the Year’ at the 2006 Finance Directors’ Excellence Awards, hosted by the CBI and Real Finance magazine.

Lloyds TSB home insurance offers policies from a number of insurers, and the quotation form requires a lot of information including current policies and previous addresses. The usual exclusions apply, premiums are reasonable and there's a 15% discount for online ordering.
In addition to standard buildings and/or contents cover, Lloyds TSB home insurance includes accidental damage insurance and legal protection as a standard part of its contents insurance. The quote form isn't the simplest and requires extensive information, but it's not too awful and premiums are reasonable.
